My nine-year old daughter has definite potential on the piano, but doesn't like working through "boring" songs in her regular Faber books. This, however, she just loves. She will go through practicing her other songs just to get to this one. It's got good basics, starting through just improvising on the black keys, and starting rhythms. I wish it had more in it; it's a rather thin book. But it's a definite starting point, and I hope to find follow on books.
